To download the planning documents, proceed as follows:
Step 1: Click on this link to open the application in your browser. (Opens in a new tab)
You should be able to see a page like this:
If the number next to Documents is 0, that means that the site is down and undergoing maintenance – try again later. If it shows a number, click on it and you will see this:
Step 2: Click on the drop down next to show all and choose ‘Supporting Document – then click ‘Apply’
Step 3: Choose the documents which are of interest and check the box on the left
Step 4: Scroll down to the end of the page and you should see a green button which enables you to download selected files: (You can download 25 at a time.)
Note: You can also view the documents on line – but it’s generally much easier to download them to your computer and view them there, as the Bromley Planning Portal often crashes. To view a document, click on the link on the right.
The documents which are of most relevance are:
- UPDATED PLANNING STATEMENT
- DAYLIGHT & SUNLIGHT IMPACT ON NEIGHBOURING PROPERTIES REPORT
- HERITAGE, TOWNSCAPE AND VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT
- HERITAGE, TOWNSCAPE AND VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT PT 2
- HERITAGE, TOWNSCAPE AND VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT PT 3
- UPDATED TRANSPORT ASSESSMENT PART1
- UPDATED TRANSPORT ASSESSMENT PART2
- UPDATED TRANSPORT ASSESSMENT PART3
You can also download and read the relevant local , London and national planning documents, but these are very lengthly documents – it’s probably better to just CTRL – F search to find what you are looking for – eg Tall buildings policy.
If you don’t have time to read through the thousands of pages of documentation, have a look at some of the objections which have already been registered on the Bromley portal – they provide references which you can use in creating your own objection.
